Markets are coming to grips with the fact that Trump will eventually get a portion of his economic agenda implemented. Pro-growth economic policies should generate a stronger economy in the United States. We expect the Federal Reserve to keep raising short term interest rates. In Europe we expect political uncertainty to decline and are interested in deploying more assets into this area. Greece will sign an agreement with the EBB and the IMF. As for Canada, we still believe that Canadian banks to expensive, and investors have not fully appreciated two things: that, yes, there is a housing cycle and that this time it’s not different.
